An original colonial Georgian building constructed circa 1820, with ground floor extension added in 1953, 140 Macquarie Street, known as London Chambers, is located in central Hobart. Situated only a five minute walk from Franklin Square, a prominent public park in between the Hobart CBD and historic Sullivans Cove, the building is ideally located within the historic Georgian-Victorian precinct. Since acquiring the site, Riverlee undertook significant internal renovations, followed by modification works and security upgrades to the entry foyer in 2005.  An 11-bay car park at the rear of the building has also undergone improvement.
