September Update – The latest from the Riverlee team

04 September 2024

Building on an incredible first half of 2024, we’re excited to share new achievements that bring our vision for thoughtful urban renewal to life, from Seafarers’ striking new façade, to new partnerships at New Epping, and refurbishment works at 379 Collins Street.

We’re especially proud to celebrate our Chairman, Clement Lee OAM, and my father, whose contributions to Australia’s built environment have been recognised with a lifetime achievement award.

Over the past three decades, Clement has guided our team, mentoring and instilling a deep sense of care—one that myself and the second generation Lee family brings forward to our operations today.

As we continue to deliver great places for people to live, work and play, we remain committed to embedding Clement’s customer-centric philosophy, creating spaces that honour place while fostering thriving communities.

Melbourne's skyline welcomes a new architectural icon

The installation of the Seafarers façade is complete

As you travel along Wurundjeri Way or the Yarra River promenade, Seafarers is now observable from all 360-degree angles, creating a seamless dialogue between past and present. Centred on the inspired reimagination of the heritage-listed Goods Shed No.5, the Seafarers façade is the result of a remarkable collaboration between Riverlee's Clement Lee OAM and architect Nonda Katsalidis AM of FK.

Comprising over 4,000 intricate panels, this architectural masterpiece showcases innovative design and engineering. The result is a striking façade that is redefining Melbourne's skyline.
