Newly appointed Impact group to inform Riverlee ESG framework

01 September 2023

Underscoring everything we deliver is an understanding that our actions today have the power to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Whether it is through our work in the built environment or in our every-day interactions, we have an inherent responsibility to cultivate positive impacts within our communities. A key element that helps align our business and internal culture with this sentiment is the formalisation of Riverlee Impact this month.

Formed and driven by passionate volunteers from all functions and levels of the Riverlee team, Impact emboldens us to strengthen Riverlee’s operations through a deeper understanding of the diverse perspectives and experiences that exist in our world. Impact drives us to recognise the world’s changing climate, and establishes a culture of ethical decision-making and continuous improvement to ensure our impact on people, places, and the planet is always deeply considered.

The Impact group includes four subcommittees focusing on the core pillars — Sustainability, Indigenous Reconciliation, Community, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion — that will ultimately shape Riverlee’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks in ways that reflect our values and way of business.

Through Impact, we will drive meaningful change with true authenticity and respect, and create places where people can thrive.

By focusing on these fundamental elements, we can foster a better tomorrow.
